The Pistons need a new pair of shoes ... a blank sneaker outline is provided at www.freep.com. Trick it out in any way you like for the defending champs.

Entries will featured in the Free Press, and the top three designs will get $150 each for new shoes.

Put "Kicks Contest" in the subject field and E-mail to features@freepress.com or mail to the Detroit Free Press, Kicks Contest, 600 W. Fort, Detroit 48226. Include name, address, day and evening phone numbers, and a photo of the designer. They must be received by 6 p.m. June 14.
